In a very concise Facebook post, Siren Visual confirmed that Nadia – The Secret of Blue Water will be released in July on Blu-ray in Australia and New Zealand. The series initially received a DVD version in January 2015, which made it the first time the title was released in the region. All 39 episodes will be collected onto 5 Blu-rays and released in July 2015. Sentai Filmworks also holds the rights to the title in North America and released the Blu-ray on March 04, 2014.
Plot Concept: In 1889 the world is on the pinnacle of great technical discoveries, however its the secrets of the past that hold the most value. When young circus acrobat Nadia is pursued by thieves Grandis she runs into young inventor Jean Ratlique, together they escape the thieving trio and after a series of mis-adventures end up crossing paths with Captain Nemo and his submarine Nautilus. Nadia and Jean soon discover that they must join with Nemo to fight against the Neo-Atlantean forces that threaten the world, discover Nadia’s true history and the secret of Blue Water.
