Archie Comics Reveals All Variant Covers For Updated ‘Archie’ Series
Archie Comics has a lot going on this year and one of the more intriguing things coming up is the relaunch of the title character/property in a more real world setting with Archie. After the very positive response they got with Afterlife with Archie, the chance to rework the characters into a more modern way to connect with readers is definitely appealing and the company has brought together a fantastic team with Mark Waid writing and Fiona Staples on art. The new series is set to debut on July 8th and Archie Comics has revealed the full slate of covers for it.
Archie Comics Publisher/CEO Jon Goldwater spoke about the unprecedented relaunch of the fan-favorite series, “This is history in the making. For the first time in 75 years, we will have a new ARCHIE #1, by a chart-topping creative team in Mark Waid and Fiona Staples. An event of this epic nature deserves the red carpet treatment. With that in mind, we’ve reached out to some of the top names in comics to help usher in this new era of Archie.”
