Kyoto Animation gave us our first promo for the spring 2015 anime series Sound Euphonium back at the end of 2014. Now that we’re in the new year and moving towards thinking about the next season, they’ve brought out a new promo that reveals the cast and staff for the series, which is based on the novel by Ayana Takeda. After originally being talked about back on October, it was formalized that Tatsuya Ishihara is directing the series based on scripts by Hukki Hanada while Shoko Ikeda is handling the character designs for it.
The main cast for the show includes:
Tomoyo Kurosawa as Kumiko Omae
Ayaka Asai as Hazuki Kato
Moe Toyota Sapphire Kawashima
Chika Anzai as Reina Kosaka
Plot concept: This is the story of the Kitauji Music club and its members. With the introduction of a new club adviser, the story depicts the students’ daily lives as they face challenges and obstacles.
