It’s still hard to believe that this property is coming back, but we’re continuing to love the diversity of comics that are coming out these days and Howard the Duck certainly fits in that area. Marvel’s now set a March 4th, 2015 release date for the special variant for the book that’s being done by Chip Zdarsky, and they’ve brought out a look at it below. Zdarsky recently worked on the Ant-Man shrinking variant, which inspired this into action.
“The Ant-Man #1 Shrinking Variant was such a successful experiment, we knew we wanted to try it again right away,” says Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel. “Each one of these variants is numbered and completely unique, showcasing a different Howard at a different size. Waugh!”
