FUNimation has the second round of announcements up for the dub cast for their release of the complete D-Frag! anime series and they’re promising more soon for the lead cast. The new announcements include Whitney Rodgers as Chitose Karasuyama and Tia Ballard as Takao. We learned previously that Caitlin Glass has signed on as Sakura Mizukami while Megan Shipman will be playing Minami Ohsawa. The series is set for release on April 28th, 2015 priced at $64.98 for the twelve episode set in a DVD/BD combo release.

Check out the character sheets below, which have some amusing bits to it, by clicking on them to see them full sized.

Special features for the release include Actor Commentaries, Pre-Air TV Commercials, The New DVD/BD Cheer, The New DVD/BD Cheer (Funabori Version), A Commercial within a Commercial, Mobile Rally Commercial, Textless Opening Song “Stalemate!”, Textless Opening Song “Minna no Namae wo Irete Kudasai”, Promotional Video, Trailers

The series is part of the push from Media Factory to get more of their works adapted into anime and they’re working with Brains Base for this one. Based on the manga by Tomoya Haruno that began in 2008 in Comic Alive, the series is directed by Seiki Sugawara, who has worked laregely as an episode director for a few different shows, and based on the scripts by Makoto Uezu.

Plot concept: Kenji likes to think that he and his gang of friends are the bad boys of their school. That is, until he meets the four insane girls of a game making club whose personalities are all super weird (and a little on the violent side). When Kenji’s forced to join their little group, his life quickly takes a turn for the outrageous.
