1 min read

GTO HeaderCrunchyroll has added another series that we saw get a home video release from Discotek Media recently as they now have the entire 43 episode run of GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka available on their service as of today. The series is the latest catalog release to the service this season and is one of the older ones as well as it originally ran back in 1999 and 2000. The series has the entire run available for premium members while free members will get a new batch of twelve episodes released each week until it’s all caught up.

The series is available to audiences in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America (including the Carribean), Europe (excluding France, Italy and the Netherlands), Africa and the Middle East.

Plot concept: Meet Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old ex-biker and college karate champ. He’s crude, foul-mouthed, and has a hair-trigger temper. His goal: to be the greatest high school teacher in the world! Unfortunately, the only teaching job available is at Holy Forest Academy (no certification required). There he uses his street smarts to deal with colleagues and students alike.
