ABC has a lot invested in the eight episode run of Agent Carter that debuts tonight with the first two episodes as they’ve been trying to figure out ways to do bridging series for a bit. This new two minute behind the scenes piece has the producers talking about the show and its aims while also going into various actors talking about their views on it – as well as some good clips mixed into it as well.
The series stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley. It’s executive produced by Christopher Markus, Steve McFeely, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Jeph Loeb.
Series concept: It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life–Steve Rogers.
