After get the episode synopsis’ revealed late last week for the first two episodes of Agent Carter, ABC has added the first clip from the miniseries event onto their channel over the weekend. Part of the show is definitely period piece material in how it all works for women in such situations back in the late 40’s, but fans are intrigued to see what will be brought into it when it comes to the more fan oriented bits and what we may potentially see with Hydra.
The series stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D’Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley. It’s executive produced by Christopher Markus, Steve McFeely, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Jeph Loeb.
Series concept: It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life–Steve Rogers.
