Part of the 2013 Anime Mirai project, the Death Billiards short was announced in October to be spun off into it’s own series in 2015 called Death Parade. The folks at VAP have now brought out the official promo video through their channel to give folks a cleaner view of what to expect. In addition to that, a new promotional visual has been released that you can see below and it’s been revealed that the show will debut on January 9th, 2015.
The series is being produced at Madhouse with original creator Yuruzu Tachikawa set to direct.Shinichi Kurita is on board as the character designer and chief animation director. The series stars Tomoaki Maeno, Asami Seto, Rumi Ookubo and Yoshimasa hosoya.
