‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ DVD/BD Featurettes Surface

Marvel is doing its legwork in a big way for the next month as it promise the December 9th, 2014 release of the DVD and Blu-ray for Guardians of the Galaxy. One of the latest things to come out is that there’s a new featurette talking with Benicio Del Toro about the character of The Collector and his Noah-like ways to another featurette showing Bradley Cooper showing some of his time in the booth recording for Rocket. And there’s also the Blu-ray trailer itself that Marvel has added with its ties towards promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Directed by James Gunn, the feature brings together Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Dave Batista, Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Benicio del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close and Gregg Henry

Plot concept: Brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits — Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand — with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
