Marvel is doing its legwork in a big way for the next month as it promise the December 9th, 2014 release of the DVD and Blu-ray for Guardians of the Galaxy. One of the latest things to come out is that there’s a new featurette talking with Benicio Del Toro about the character of The Collector and his Noah-like ways to another featurette showing Bradley Cooper showing some of his time in the booth recording for Rocket. And there’s also the Blu-ray trailer itself that Marvel has added with its ties towards promoting Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Plot concept: Brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits — Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer.
