Toonami is firming up some of its November 2014 schedule as they’ve announced that they’ll be broadcasting Inu Yasha: The Final Act beginning on November 15th at 2am ET. The series was picked up by Viz Media where they simulcast it and eventually released it on DVD and Blu-ray after its original 2009 broadcast. Toonami is going to be tweaking the presentation to adhere to the TV-MA rating, but according to the information they don’t expect to make much in the way of edits.

In addition to announcing this presentation, they’ve also revealed through an apology that they don’t have the broadcast rights to all ten episodes of Hellsing Ultimate. They thought they did but it turns out they only have access to the first eight episodes, which is what’s been released previously on DVD/BD from FUNimation.  The final two episodes are being released on DVD/BD from FUNimation on October 28th, 2014.

Inu Yasha – Final Act Plot Concept: Kagome is an ordinary schoolgirl who finds her destiny linked to the half-demon Inuyasha and the powerful Shikon Jewel. In their quest to restore the shattered Shikon Jewel, Inuyasha and Kagome face their ultimate enemy, the demon mastermind Naraku.

Meanwhile, Sesshomaru learns the truth behind his sword Tenseiga, and Kikyo discovers a secret that could defeat Naraku! With the jewel nearly complete and in enemy hands, the race to collect the remaining shards intensifies, and an epic battle is brewing on the horizon!
