Fox took advantage of the premiere of Gotham last night to provide a full length trailer for one of their bigger films for the early part of 2015 with Kingsman: The Secret Service. The film was bumped from its original October 24th, 2014 release date to February 13th, 2015 to do some counter programming to all the Valentine’s Day releases out there – including Fifty Shades of Grey. The first trailer is one that worked exceedingly well for me, though less so with Samuel L. Jackson’s linguistic approach, and the second trailer provides a whole lot of new footage and some really good humor that willd raw people in to make it somewhat quotable.

Adapting the comic of the same name that comes from Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, the feature is aimed at bringing back some of the 60′s style and sensibilities to spies and secret agencies that operate with humor and a certain kind of precision.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the film stars Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, Sofia Boutella, Jack Davenport and an array of celebrity cameos including Mark Hamill, Elton John, Adele, Lady Gaga and David Beckham.

Plot concept: Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
