Details in terms of what the show is actually about is pretty much non-existent at this point, but the upcoming series Shirobako has now detailed the cast for it. Set for the October season, Tsutomu Mizushima is on board as the director with Michiko Yokote doing the overall supervision while Ponkan8 is handling the original character designs and Kanami Sekiguchi is adapting them into animation form. The cast announcements are just for the actors involved with no roles associated and the first group announced includes Juri Kimura, Haruka Yoshimura, Haruka Chisuga, Asami Takano and Hitomi Ohwada.
It’s expected that more details will be announced next weekend at Comic Market 86.
P.A. Works was established back in 2000 by Kenji Horikawa, who has been involved in several animation studios previously. They worked on numerous shows over the years and produced their first on in 2008 with True Tears before going on to Canaan, Angel Beats and several others, including this seasons Glasslip.
