Marvel is definitely making you head back to their booth for the first three days of SDCC by providing two different posters yesterday and today that, along with two more that will land tomorrow, will connect to a large piece of action conceptual artwork of a massive battle being fought by the team. The individual posters are SDCC free exclusives, though we expect we’ll see the finalized large poster available in some form sometime.
Directed by Joss Whedon, the is set to land on May 1st, 2015 and stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and James Spader.
Plot concept: With S.H.I.E.L.D destroyed and the Avengers needing a break from stopping threats, Tony Stark creates Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence, who can assess threats and control Stark’s Iron Legion. However, things quickly go awry when Ultron realizes that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth.
