With SDCC coming up in just over a week, there will be plenty of things talked about ahead of time to build on the buzz and to try and stake out a little attention before the really big hitters get up there. The latest is Warner Bros. releasing a look at their upcoming new animated feature with Batman: Assault on Arkham as a clip has been put online.

The feature is directed by Jay Oliva and Ethan Spaulding based on the game series of the same name. The feature, which gives us some time with the Suicide Squad, brings Ken Conroy back to voice Batman whie Troy Baker is on as The Joker. Jay Oliva is set to direct it. Batman: Assault on Arkham on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD on August 12th, 2014.

Plot concept: Amanda Waller forms the Suicide Squad where their mission is to break into Arkham Asylum and recover top secret information from Riddler. Suicide Squad member Harley Quinn ends up freeing Joker who makes plans to blow up Arkham Asylum and Gotham City causing Batman to spring into action.
