The folks at Right Stuf have reported that a number of people are informing them there have been playback issues with the newly released limited edition version of Attack on Titan. The release looks to have some discs within them that are scratched which causes playback issues. The notice that they’ve posted does not indicate which format that this is occurring with, but we’re guessing more on the DVD side as those tend to be more susceptible to scratches compared to the Blu-ray. We’re currently working through our copy of the series on Blu-ray from the LE and have not encountered this issues.

Folks that are experiencing it that ordered from Right Stuf should follow the instructions below:

A number of customers have contacted us with concerns about the Attack on Titan Part 1 Limited Edition, reporting that discs have been scratched on arrival and episodes have been skipping. We are aware that this is an issue with some copies of this item, and we are currently working with Funimation to look into this further. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available. If you find your copy has scratched discs and/or skips, please contact our friendly Customer Care team with details on your copy. Thank you very much for your patience.
