The upcoming anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation for the light novel by Shoji Gatoh, Amagai Brilliant Park, has a little more going for it today. We’ve now gotten word via the official site that it’ll be coming out in the fall season this year and we’ve also got a new, bright and attractive key visual for it with a trio of characters. Yasuhiro Takemoto has signed on to direct the series previously. This marks a pretty good return in a way since he previously directed two Full Metal Panic series and recently worked on shows like Hyouka for Kyoto Animation. Also check out the original special promo that was put together earlier this month that gives you an idea of the show through the light novel illustrations.
Plot concept: The story centers around a high school student Seiya Kanie. On a Sunday, a mysterious transfer student who carries a musket gun Isuzu Sento takes him to an old and deserted amusement park Amagi Brilliant Park in Amagi-city, which is located in the western part of Tokyo. He is told that if the park can’t attract 100,000 visitors in the next two weeks, it will be closed immediately. For some reason, Seiya has to save the park as an acting manager.
