Warner Japan Sets ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders’ Anime DVD/BD Releases

Japan is getting things in motion for their release of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, which looks like it’s going to be a twenty-four episode series. The home video release is scheduled to begin on July 30th, 2014 with six volumes being released for it, four episodes per volume. According to the first blush solicitation information sent to retailers, the DVD releases will be priced at 5,000 yen each while the Blu-ray releases are priced at 9,500 yen each. The Blu-ray releases are all limited edition releases that comes with different first press editions, such as a CD with the first two volumes. The third volume comes with a Star Platinum mouse pad while the fourth volume has a specialty headphone release. The fifth volume doesn’t list what it’s extra will be while the sixth volume comes with a one hundred page illustration book.

Plot concept: Phantom Blood In ancient Mexico, people of Aztec had prospered. They had historic and strange “Stone Mask”. It was a miraculous mask which brings eternal life and the power of authentic ruler. But the mask suddenly disappeared. A long time after that, in late 19th centuries when the thought and life of people were suddenly changing, Jonathan Joestar met with Dio Brando―. They spend time together through boyhood to youth, and the “Stone Mask” brings curious fate to them―.
