All good things must come to an end and it often seems that not long after getting an anime series, some manga series end up folding up shop. The latest one to get that particular nod is Aiura, which was created by Chama and began in 2011. The title has made a few moves since it began, first on Seiga before going to 4-Koma Nano Ace and then Shonen Ace. Five volumes have been released so far with the sixth and final one to come when it ends on April 23rd.

Crunchyroll streamed the short form series when it aired in 2013, which you can read about here.

Plot concept: They don’t always see eye-to-eye, but that just makes these high school girls’ daily lives more fun. “Their lives happen when nothing is happening” in this anime based on the lackadaisical four-panel manga. *This story features high school girls, but there’s not much romance, and comedy has its place. Don’t expect too much extravagance.
