Media Factory has laid down the expectations and plans for their home video release in Japan for Soul Eater Not! and it’s definitely going to be tempting for fans since it will include two art boxes across it that will hold three volumes each. The series is getting a six volume release for the twelve episodes its scheduled to run where the Blu-ray releases will be priced at 7,560 yen each while the DVD releases will be priced at 6,480 yen each. The first volume is scheduled for release on July 30th, 2014 with a new volume following monthly until completion.
Extras for the release so far include for the first volume an audio commentary, material from the AnimeJapan 2014 presentation and a booklet.
The series adapts the spinoff manga of the same name by Atsushi Ohkubo. The production has set Masakazu Hashimoto to direct it at Bones. Hashimoto was most recently seen directing Tari Tari but has been involved in a few other things over the year as an episode director.
