Sony Pictures has a lot riding on the summer release of Amazing Spider-Man 2 since they have two more in the works, spinoffs and a plan for something a bit larger in terms of connecting the films in a way to start telling bigger stories. They’ve also gone big with two Super Bowl commercials that clock in at thirty seconds each that show off a lot of the action and special effects. But they’ve also put out a nearly four minute sizzle real that goes into Electro’s origins, some of the comedy early on and a whole lot with th villains. It may be giving away more than some want, so avoid it if you don’t want to be too spoiled.
Directed by Webb, the film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, and Sally Field.
