Yusuke has a problem – the kind of problem any guy would love to have. You see, there’s this girl named Reina, who wants him to be her “private tutor”… oh, and she just happens to have gigantic breasts. Huge, massive, watermelon-sized gazongas that taste sweet and are as soft as marshmallows.

Audio:
The audio presentation for this release is straightforward as we get the original Japanese language track in stereo as well as the English language track, both of which are encoded at 192kbps. The two episodes have a pretty basic stereo mix that doesn’t have much in the way of any real directionality other than the music using both channels as most of the dialogue is rather center channel based. This isn’t a strenuous mix by any stretch of the imagination but it’s solid and without and real problems. In listening to both tracks, we didn’t note any problems with dropouts or distortions during regular playback.

Originally released in 2003, the transfer for this two part OVA series is presented in its original full frame aspect ratio. The source materials for this are in great shape and the transfer comes across very clean. Taking place in a standard real world setting, it’s mostly interiors with bright colors but not too vibrant while things like clothes and skin tones come across very well. The two episodes are presented in their original format and breaks and are essentially problem free. This is a good looking print with no visible problems such as cross coloration or aliasing while colors maintain a very solid feel throughout.
Packaging:
The design for the release is relatively simple but the theme works nicely and the illustrations are certainly attractive. The front cover has a slightly small picture to it of the two lead women from an almost upskirt angle as you see them lifting up their shirts while smiling and blushing as you can see what they’ve got. The designs are nice with a good soft color palette to it that lets it stand out nicely. The back cover uses a corkboard theme with shots from the show spread around as pictures with pins in them and the summary, features and copyright information is all done as notes with pins in them as well. There’s a bit more black space surrounding it all than I would have expected but the layout and artwork looks good. No insert is included with this release.
Menu:
The menu layout for the show uses the theme from the back cover of a corkboard on one side with pins holding down pictures of scenes from the show as well as a sheet that has the selections. The left half of the menu uses the front cover artwork in its unedited form so you can get your fill of nipples as the music plays along to it. It’s a very simple menu but the illustrations look good and the theme fits well enough. Access times are nice and fast and the disc correctly read our players’ language presets and played accordingly.

One of the longer names when it comes to adult releases or anime releases in general, “Anyone You Can Do… I Can Do Better!” brings us two episodes that delve into the world of F-cups and H-cups, or “rocket sized titties” as Yusuke thinks to himself as he meets up with the women in this show from the Vanilla Series. The Vanilla Series always tries to do different things and this one is no exception, though it does keep it pretty simple when you get down to it. And you get a familiar hentai storyline where one guy finds himself in such a place of excellence that you have to wonder why he manages to screw it up so bad at times, or acts the way he does instead of just enjoying every moment. But then where would the dramatic tension be, right? Especially when it comes to getting involved with a mother and daughter.
The show revolves around a very small cast of characters and like many shows by Blue Gale, it tends to focus on just a couple of sex scenes with as minimal plot as possible to get it all done. There’s just enough to the characters that they’re maybe half a step above your average porn star character but even that’s just damning it with faint praise. The story starts when a friend of Yusuke’s introduces him to Reina, an attractive if large breasted young woman who needs a private tutor. She’s actually requested the introduction because she’s hot for Yusuke and is using the tutor angle as an excuse so she can get closer to him. Yusuke is unaware of this for awhile and is intent on just being a good tutor. When he gets to the house though, he meets Reina’s mother, Mitsuki, who is a whole cup size larger than Reina and is rather sexually frustrated herself.
Yusuke manages to get to a couple of bases with Reina in her room during a study session but then falls prey to Mitsuki who goes all the way with him. She’s a bit more possessive than Reina is and demands that Yusuke not have sex with her daughter but only her. Yusuke of course can’t keep his member to himself and just as he and Reina are getting it on, Mitsuki walks in. The staring is comical as the girls face each other down and stake out their territory before forcing Yusuke to make a choice. Yusuke’s been in heaven for a lot of this since not only does he have two women who want him, they’re both so sensitive to the touch that you could almost imagine that if they felt that their breasts were being looked at that they’d start moaning and shuddering from all of it.
This leads into plenty of fun as the competition goes in obvious ways as the two women go at it for Yusuke. This isn’t a deep thought show by any stretch of the imagination but it is a fairly decent little romp with a small cast and a paper thin plot to hold it all together with. It’s not exactly a budget title but there are some shortcuts taken with the animation here and there with a bit less fluidity to some movements and some of the scenes are a bit flatter in presentation than they should be. At the same time, it’s a bright and vibrant piece that looks really good on the big HDTV and upconverted; the cups are even bigger when presented this way.
In Summary:
Anyone You Can Do… I Can Do Better is like a lot of adult shows in that there isn’t a rich and engaging story here but rather a comical paper thin plot line to work with. It deals as you’d expect in a hentai way with two women competing over an otherwise average guy who just seems to have lucked out. With the large breasts being so prominent, there’s a lot of action that’s going on with them but there’s a good bit of variety as well, including some girl on girl action and some time for Reina to get burns on her knees. With a pretty accurate dub script and a straightforward story, this isn’t a bad way to pass the time and fans of the show will get a really great looking presentation. For me, it was mildly amusing and better than some recent titles I’ve seen and it also provided my wife with an hour of laughter as she was working in the room at the same time I was watching it.
