The new year is here and that means a whole lot of manga that’s hitting this week. The first release week of the month is typically a Viz Media heavy week and this one is no exception as we see a number of titles from them, including the launch of Nisekoi, which ties in beautifully with the anime about to debut. The week has a lot of material hitting between omnibus releases and new titles across the board, as well as a few mature titles like a new installment of Midnight Secretary, so there’s definitely a little something for everyone. Vertical also slides in a new release this week with Flowers of Evil while Kodansha Comics hits up more Fairy Tail, which is still going quite strong even thirty-four volumes into its run so far with no signs of slowing down.
