Welcome back to Star Wars Thursday, a celebration of the wonderful and often wacky world of a galaxy far, far away.
I know, I’ve done a cat post before. Seriously, though, cats are amazing. A few of my recent favorite kidlit books have featured some cool felines, and I want to express my love for the aloof little hairballs. Since my FanCat post showcased some silly photos and videos, I decided to do a little stroll through Etsy to see what crafters are currently creating with cats.
Who do you think is the most cat-like of the Star Wars universe? Who is prickly, easily offended, and likely to stalk off in a huff when they aren’t given their way? If you guessed Anakin, you are right! He takes being moody to a whole new level, and descends into the Dark Side. Celebrate his cranky self with this Darth Vader pincushion from Fat Cat Crafts on Etsy. (If Darth isn’t your thing, the shop also has Leia, Han, Boba Fett, and more!)
Luke even has his own personal Yoda on his back!
So, let’s say you have one of those prickly, lazy cats and you want to convince him to get a little silly. Grab one of these cat wands (available in Leia, Death Star, C3PO, and more) and torment away. This is from the Neko Dahl shop on Etsy.
This next one is for all the long haired Star Wars fans out there. It’s listed as a great way to keep hair out of your face while you exercise, but I bet it works well to get those bangs out of the way while you read the latest Star Wars novel, too! Anyone else pick up the newest Leia book, Razor’s Edge? This headband is from the Etsy shop LittleSliceofAwesome
Have a great Star Wars Thursday, and may the Force be with mew.
