The manga series by Juuzo Yamasaki that’s also getting a live action film at the same time has debuted a new trailer with Asahiruban. Yamasaki has been working in the manga field for decade snow with numerous sports titles going back into the mid to late 1970’s. This series kicked off in 2013 with Terry Yamamoto drawing it for Big Comic Original. Now the first trailer for the film has debuted for it which stars Jun Kunimura, Itsuji Itao, Toshiyuki Nishikda and Mirei Kiritani.
Plot concept: Three former high school baseball players — collectively nicknamed “Asahiruban” for their family names (“Asamoto”, “Hirukawa”, and “Bando”)— are reunited after 30 years when they receive a letter from the daughter of their team manager, Sachiko.
