Any series that progresses long enough will introduce new characters along the way and Phi-Brain: Kami no Puzzle is no exception. The series, which is set to debut on October 6th, is introducing two new characters into it with this new promo that runs just over two minutes in length. The video, which is admittedly low quality, gives us a glimpse of Reitsell and Enigma, which are voiced by Minori Chihara and Jouji Nakata respectively.
The first two seasons have been streamed by Crunchyroll and picked up for home video release on DVD and Blu-ray in bilingual format by Sentai Filmworks. Sunrise talked about the series over their convention run this summer with how different it is from their normal shows and that the positive reaction has helped them to look at expanding out of the comfortable area they’ve had for so long even more.
Plot concept: A girl named Reitsell suddenly challenges Kaito and his friends to a puzzle. At the same time, a man named Enigma, who is in charge of the genius “Master Brain” that is attacking Root Academy with a puzzle, also appears. Reitsell and Enigma are both connected to Kaito’s master, Jin Makata, who has lost his memories, but remembers Reitsell.
