The folks at noitaminA are following up their announcements last month when it comes to their fall anime series with a new promo video that highlights both Galileo Donna and Samurai Flamenco. The two series are worlds apart but they manage to put it all together into a fun little 30 second piece to promote each of them.

Galileo Donna

On a list of things that you may not have expected to ever see happen, we can now add Yasuomi Umetsu directing a single season original series for the noitaminA block on Fuji TV. Umetsu, who has been involved in many things but is known more in North American for his work Kite and Mezzo Forte, is set to do a single season series that will air between the two halves of Silver Spoons. The show is being animated by A-1 Pictures with Shingo Adachi working on the character designs. The story is about “three moons” — three of Italian astronomer Galileo’s female descendants who are on international wanted lists. The show is planned for the fall season before Silver Spoons returns in January.

Samurai Flamenco

When news comes out form Fuji TV and its noitaminA block of shows, it’s always intriguing to see what they’ll be bringing up, especially if it’s an original series. Such is the case with their latest plans for the fall anime season as they’ll be bringing out Samurai Flamenco, which is planned to run for two seasons. The show is being directed by Takahiro Omori, who has worked on such varied shows as Baccano! and Princess Jellyfish, with Chinatsu Kurahana designing the characters. Kurahana recently had worked on Aquarion Evol.

Plot Concept: Hero will never give up, never hide, never be defeated, never accept evil.
