At SDCC, MTV’s Teen Wolf has shown up with some great news as the third season of the series, which got a double-order over the first two seasons, has been split in half and the winter season premiere is now set for January 6th. With the first half of the season running through this summer, giving us another dose in the winter definitely eases the long wait we had between previous seasons and this one while also ramping things up.
When the series premiered this June with the new season, it beat its previous record by 10% and continues to go strong. The series also won the California tax lottery, which got the production to move from the southeast to California and helped it make the show go for double what its previous seasons did.
