Nikkatsu Video Sets Bilingual Japanese Release For ‘The Mystical Laws’

The Mystical Laws, also known as Shinpi no Hou, was released into theaters in October of 2012 and is now getting a Japanese DVD and Blu-ray release this year. Schedule for July 19th where the Blu-ray is 5,980 yen and the DVD is 4,980 yen, the release will come with an English dub and English subtitles in addition to the original Japanese. The release also has some extras on it for the film that won the 46th Houston International Film Festival “Special Jury Award” (Special Jury Prize) award by including the theme song, image song and TV spots.

Plot concept: The film takes place in 202X, when the newly-formed Empire of Godom is threatening to take over the world by using mysterious technology offered to them by Chan Reika, the mysterious female president of a trading company. The protagonist of the film Shishimaru Shou is the one man who has the mystical technology that can stop the Empire of Godom, but after being hunted down by the Empire, he is saved by mysterious Indians, who tell him about a prophecy about the second coming of a savior.
