In preparation for the June 11th release of Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, Set 1 on Blu-ray, Viz Media has rolled out a new English language dub trailer to help promote the show. It still feels weird after all these years to be talking about Viz Media, fresh new shows and high definition releases considering their earlier track record. But with the promises made and the push exercised in the last year, they’re continuing to hit these events strongly and leaving me wishing they were picking up more shows to release. The upcoming title, which is getting both a DVD and Blu-ray release for the first part, is set to have a number of extras included on it including the Kamogawa Drama OVAs.
Plot concept: Madoka Kyono is an energetic girl who is full of passion. As the proud – and only – member of the Kamogawa Girls’ High School Jersey Club, she goes around helping people in need. But Madoka’s life is turned upside down when she is suddenly asked by a mysterious girl named Lan to pilot a robot. Motivated by her desire to protect the people and city of Kamogawa, Madoka agrees to pilot the resurrected Vox robot to fight against extraterrestrials that have come to attack Earth.
