The first week of manga releases for April is here, and it’s pretty easy to just call it Viz Media week. Of the seventeen new releases that are debuting this week, fifteen of them come from Viz Media. The outliers include the latest from Dark Horse Comics with Avatar: The Last Airbender and Udon Entertainment bringing out the Growlanser artbook. Viz Media has a lot on tap with continuing series rolling along, and the end as well with Story of Saiunkoku finishing out. Add in an omnibus with Hana-Kimi and the short-run series Barrage and there are some interesting things to take a gander at this week.
