Anime Limited Adds Early Makoto Shinkai Anime For Blu-ray UK Release – Plus ‘Travelling Daru’

The folks at Anime Limited have updated their Facebook pages to reflect some new license announcements out of the UK. Sure to place Makoto Shinkai fans, the company has announced the acquisition of The Place Promised in Our Early Days as well as Voices of a Distant Star. Details are slim but it was indicated that both releases will be coming in both DVD and Blu-ray formats. The company also announced the pickup of the Makoto Shinkai short Travelling Daru, which you can see the trailer for below as well. No details on how this will be included but it will be a part of what’s coming.

Place Promised In Our Early Days: 

In 1996, an enormous tower is constructed on the southern shore of Hokkaido, it’s purpose-unknown. Curious, three school children make a vow to discover the mysterious tower’s secrets. Will this promise have to be left unfulfilled when one of the three falls into a coma?
