With production fully underway for the May 2nd, 2014 release of Amazing Spider-Man 2, a new collage of shots from the set has found its way into video form online. This piece gives us more of a look at the updated costume for Spider-Man, which brings more of the white to the eyes that fans were looking for based on the original comics, and it also gives us a few stills of a new character that’s being brought in. Or at least new for this reboot as we get to see Shallene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson. There’s some good shots here that definitely give you a teenage feel for the characters and the costume for Spidey is definitely improving, which is what it did in the comics as well.
Plot Concept: In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds, life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
Thats the New “Mary Jane”?….really? groan….atleast Kirsten Dunst was kinda sexy in a “Geek Girl” cool kind of way
