HBO was seeking to build a bit of its audience for later in the year when a couple of new series debut by using A Game of Thrones last night with its strong audience. What we got was the first look at the fifth season of True Blood, which will be the last one with series creator Alan Ball heavily involved as he gears up to move on to other projects with HBO. It’s a short piece, teasing a bit about what’s to come, which leaves plenty of room for a bigger trailer down the line to get fans excited.
