2 min read

After a successful first season that was generally well received by critics, the second season of the summer series Falling Skies has gotten its premiere date on the TNT network. The Steven Spielberg produced show will again run on Sunday nights at 9pm ET and will once again run ten episodes. The show will premiere on June 17th and it’s expected that there will be a marathon session prior to the broadcast. In addition, TNT has the first season hitting home video on June 5th to try and build up a little more enthusiasm, but it’s a very small window in a very busy month for many people. You can read our past coverage of the series and reviews of it as it aired here.

Plot Concept: Falling Skies opens in the aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. The few remaining survivors have banded together. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people while engaging in a campaign against the occupying alien force, whose purpose remains a mystery. Starring Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, and Will Patton.
