Sometimes the goofier the title, the more interesting the series (hello, Bodacious Space Pirates), so we’re definitely interested to see what will come of the anime adaptation of the manga series Space Brothers. The series that comes from the Chuya Koyama work is set to be broadcast on April 1st of this year with direction by Ayumu Watanabe which will play well against a live action film that’s coming in May, providing some fun synergy for fans in Japan. The manga series has sixteen compilations in Japan since it debuted in 2008.
Plot Concept: The series follows two brothers, Mutta and Hibito, who made a vow as kids to travel to space. The younger brother Hibito did become an astronaut, but not Mutta. However, Mutta’s life changes one fateful day.
