The multimedia rollout for The Hunger Games continues as Lionsgate has now set up several Facebook pages for a number of the districts and have included new posters for each of them that serves to highlight what they’re known for. You can join the Facebook pages that you prefer easily by clicking on them here: District 2, District 7, District 8, District 9, District 12. You can also just check out the gallery below to see them. As time goes on over the course of the planned four movies, they’ll be updating the pages with “news and reports” out of the districts in relations to the games and more.
Plot concept: In a not-too-distant future, the United States of America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war, to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts. Each year, two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in the Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal intimidations of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcasted throughout Panem as the 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch.
