Jackie Chan is back in theaters this fall with something that’s definitely not like his usual fare and looks like it’s most assuredly worth checking out. 1911 deals with the the revolution of that time period in China as it looks at the Xinhai Revolution which ended up becoming the basis for the Republic of China. Chan stars with winston Chao, Joan Chen and Li Bingbing and Chan also co-directed it with Zhang Li, who garnered a lot of international attention for his cinematography with Red Cliff. The film is set to open in China this week with a US and Canada bow in October as released by Well Go USA.
