Sometimes a deal comes along that you really, really have to share. One of the best sets I bought when it came out a couple of years ago was this one, the complete Battlestar Galactica series on Blu-ray. I had watched the series every week when it was on and devoured it as much as I could, but it turned into a very different and far more intense and draining experience going through a season at a time over the course of a week. The set is and was one of the best purchase I’ve made and at the time I had gotten a pretty sweet deal on it. Amazon occasionally offers it up for sale once in awhile and today is one of those days as it’s a gold box deal where it’s now 62% off of its normal $300 price. With seventy-five episodes on it and a copious amount of extras to pore over, at the sale price of $114, it’s pretty much a steal. And it’s complete, it’s the whole shebang.
If you like gritty science fiction with a lot of drama, this is one to check out.
