Compiling clips from many of their shows, All-Sex Hentai covers the bases with a wide variety of characters, styles and sexual encounters.
Audio:
The audio presentation for this release is like the majority of clip shows at this point as it has only an English language track in stereo encoded at 192kbps. The audio track is fairly decent for the most part but it’s very dependent on the individual clips as some of them have a bit more noise at higher levels, some are slightly muffled and a couple are a bit lower, but they are all for the most part very easy to understand and free of serious problems. You may want to keep the remote handy to adjust the volume on some clips though.
Video:
Comprised of clips from across several years, the transfer for this series is presented in its original full frame aspect ratio. Similar to the audio department, the quality of the transfer is really dependent on the clip itself as each of them come from very different places and different kinds of source quality. The ones with a bit more of a budget tend to look better while others have a soft and fuzzy feel to them. The actual authoring and encoding looks to be done just right but with a lot of the low quality source material, the DVD is just showing off the flaws in it all the more. This isn’t the kind of show where you jump up and down looking for pristine quality to begin with but it is for the most part in the realm of acceptable.
Menu:
The menu is nicely done though it uses some of what you’d expect to be basic backgrounds included in an authoring package as it has various shapes and forms floating in the background of blues in a digital look. Across the center of the screen there’s a slow progression of changing shots from the show with the character designs as a bit of instrumental music plays along. The layout is good looking in general though and it’s easy to navigate and get around. With only English language here, the default selections were not an issue and the menus performed well. The top level menu does include a selection for just hitting the money shots as well which is amusing.

With the success of the first and second All Sex Hentai releases, it was a no brainer that Adult Source Media was going to go for a third round. Much of what they’ve put out in the last year when it comes to compilations has been the thematic type with each one showcasing a particular fetish and such. These tend to work better than a more generic compilation since you generally know what it is you’re going to get throughout it. It may vary with certain aspects of it, but if it’s all about the nurses, you know it’s going to feature lots of nurses.
With this third installment, All Sex Hentai covers a lot of the basic bases as it’s filled with a whole lot of clips that’s all about the good stuff. There’s no plot or context here as it jumps from scene to scene, sometimes too quickly as the next scene gets going with barely a breath. There’s even one sequence where when it goes to the next one, it felt like things were already going mid-stream which was somewhat jarring. Strange as it may say, I’ve found over the years with my hentai that I actually do like context and plot, some knowledge of the characters, so getting into a compilation can be a little difficult. The variety to the scenes here is pretty good as we have all sorts of very different looking characters going at it, but there’s also a sense of a bit of a vanilla flavor as well.
That’s not to say it doesn’t stretch itself a little as there’s a a group scene and some material feels like it’s pushing the boundaries of consensual a bit. Unlike the more narrowly focused compilations, things do try to keep to that realm since it has a lot more material to work with. That also keeps it a bit more accessible which is good, though it does have an edge of creepiness in a few scenes. Unlike some of the past compilations, this one doesn’t have much material that’s very old and that’s welcome since everything feels like it’s at least from the past decade. The variance with the animation quality can be distracting, but it doesn’t get down to the very low frame quality material that we’ve seen in a few other pieces. One or two of the clips does look like parts of it are squished a bit, like they should have been widescreen, but other parts of it don’t which is odd as well.
In Summary:
All Sex Hentai delivers on its title by providing a straight hour of hentai with a wide variety of acts using fairly cute characters. It doesn’t dally with the stories that may be involved and the dialogue is fairly pointless because of that as you just want to see everyone going at it. Some scenes are too short but none run too long which is good as they all deliver on what it is they’re offering. Hentail compilations have never been a favorite of mine but I know their purpose and the dub only ones are meant for a mainstream adult audience, not for people like myself. What’s presented here certainly does what they set out to do, but it just continues to leave me wishing that ASM would go for some other titles and do something bilingual like they used to. Cause, you know, I sort of like context. And cute Japanese voices in awkward positions.
