Chris Evans Talks New Captain America Suit For ‘Avengers’

2 min read

There was a lot of gnashing of the teeth when it came to the Captain America: The First Avenger movie simply because of the uniform that he would wear. Which way would they go? Can it transition into a real world outfit without looking completely awful? While there were some quibbles to be had, by and large fans have been receptive to it as a proper adjustment for the times and simple reality. With The Avengers taking place in modern times though, there has been questions about where the WWII style uniform will go and Chris Evans has brought it up in questioning from MTV News:

“I was worried because I started to get really attached to the old one. [costume] I started really digging it. It’s not that easy to move in, but I started really liking it. The first time we tried the new one on, I was like, ‘aw, I miss the old one.'”

Thankfully he does seem to like the new one though, as he followed that up with, “I was just in Albuquerque a couple days ago and we did a camera test with the new suit. It’s pretty rad.”
