Chloe Moretz Set To Join ‘Dark Shadows’ Cast

1 min read

The cast for Tim Burton’s big screen adaptation of Dark Shadows has grown a bit bigger today with the addition of Chloe Moretz. She’ll be playing the character of Carolyn, the daughter of Elizabeth Collins Stoddard. Elizabeth, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, is the reclusive matriarch of the Collins family and owner of the Collinwood mansion where the film happens. Moretz came to greater notice with her role in last years Kick-Ass and she has a busy slate for 2012 with three films (Movie 43, The Fields and Huge Cabret) and one slated for 2012 as well (Hick).

Dark Shadows is set for a 2012 release and currently has attached to it Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Eva Green, Jackie Earle Haley, Bella Heathcote and Michelle Pfeiffer. It’s set to begin production in April but no firm date has been set for its theatrical release yet.
