‘Death Parade’ Getting French Anime DVD/BD Release Next Month

Kaze France is bringing out something that folks overseas are hoping for in their regions as well with the Death Parade anime series getting a release. Planned for an April 13th, 2016 debut, the Blu-ray set is priced at 38 euro while the DVD set is at 33 euro. Interestingly, the listing has it set so that it will dubbed in French in addition to having the original Japanese language track with French subtitles. This is a show that we can definitely see being appealing in French.

The set looks to contain the twelve episode run plus the OVA while including the clean opening and closing along with a 64-page storyboard and booklet component.

The twelve episode series was produced at Madhouse with original creator Yuruzu Tachikawa directing. Shinichi Kurita worked on it as the character designer and chief animation director. The series stars Tomoaki Maeno, Asami Seto, Rumi Ookubo and Yoshimasa Hosoya. The English language cast, directed by Zach Bolton and Cris George, includes Alex Organ as Decim, Jamie Marchi, Jad Sazton as Nona, Anastasia Munoz as Quin, Z. Charles Bolton as Clovis, Eric Vale as Takashi and Trina Nishimura as Machiko.

Plot Concept: “Welcome to Queen Dekim” What greets two unsuspecting guests is a strange bar, Queen Dekim, and the white-haired bartender, Dekim. “From here you two shall begin a battle where your lives hang in the balance,” he says to introduce the Death Game.
