With the next season of Teekyu getting us perilously close to catching up to the manga, it’s no surprise that there’s some exploration of a new series to spin out of it. It looks like the one that’s being centered on is that of Usakame, which is made up of a group of characters that are the rivals to the cast of Teekyu. The new series will have Shin Itagaki directing it, providing continuity to his extensive work on Teekyu as director, while Mellepensee will animate this one as well.
The main cast, as seen in the image to the right, includes:
- Maria Tanijiri as Nishi Nishiaraidaishi
- Hikaru Koide as Kurumi Satō
- Kinako Tanaka as Yuki Nakashima
- Izumi Araida as Ayako Suzuki
The supporting cast includes:
- Kanon Takao as Tasuku Kodaira
- Eri Sogabe as Miyako Baba
- Arisa Aihara as Hoheto Irohani
