2 min read

Amagi Brilliant ParkAfter Sentai Filmworks picked up the rights to Amagi Brilliant Park back in early April, it was only a matter of time before this series would find itself some additional distribution elsewhere in the work. The next distributor to get new home video and streaming rights for the series is that of Madman Entertainment. They’ll be bringing the series out on the AnimeLab service for streaming in the near future and will detail home video release plans at a later date.

The anime adaptation comes from Kyoto Animation as it deals with the light novel by Shoji Gatoh. Yasuhiro Takemoto is directing the series, which marks a pretty good return in a way since he previously directed two Full Metal Panic series and recently worked on shows like Hyouka for Kyoto Animation.

The series stars Kouki Uchiyama as Seiya Kanie, Ai Kakuma as Isuzu Sento, Yukiyo Fujii as Latifah Fullanza, Shiori Mikami as Kobori, Ryoko Shiraishi as Macaron, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Sylphy, Ayako Kawasumi as Moffle, Yuka Aisaka as Muse, Minami Tsuda as Salama and Ai Nonaka as Tirami.

Plot concept: The story centers around a high school student Seiya Kanie. On a Sunday, a mysterious transfer student who carries a musket gun Isuzu Sento takes him to an old and deserted amusement park Amagi Brilliant Park in Amagi-city, which is located in the western part of Tokyo. He is told that if the park can’t attract 100,000 visitors in the next two weeks, it will be closed immediately. For some reason, Seiya has to save the park as an acting manager.
