ComiXology Sets New & Notable Digital Comics For August 8th, 2015

Saturday has arrived again and one of the best things about it is that we get a new installment of the digital-first series DC Comics: Bombshells. The third issue of the series that takes us to the past in a creative way comes from writer Marguerite Bennett and artist Marguerite Sauvage. The book is getting a print edition a little further along, so right now the best place to get it is in digital form, fresh off the digital printing press.

Plot concept: Meet Kara and Kortni, two Russian stepsisters about to enter the war as fighter pilots. But when Kara’s secret powers are revealed, it may be time for the coming of a Supergirl.
