1 min read

WarcraftUniversal Pictures recently adjusted the date for the Warcraft movie from a March 2016 premiere to June 10th, 2016, and now they’ve updated things a bit with a cleaner full visual from the film and the title card itself. The feature is one that they’re hoping will launch a solid fantasy epic out there now that the Tolekin-verse has been dealt with and they’re hoping that there’s an audience hungry for it. We should be getting closer to the first trailer for the film debuting this summer.

Directed by Duncan Jones and based on the script by Jones and Charles Leavitt, the film stars Travis Fimmel, Ben Foster, Paula Patton, Ben Schnetzer, Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Toby Kebbell, Robert Kazinsky, Clancy Brown, Anna Galvin and Daniel Wu.

Plot concept: The film portrays the origin story of the initial encounters between the humans and the orcs, with an emphasis upon both the Alliance’s and the Horde’s sides of their conflict. Featuring characters such as Durotan and Lothar, the film will take place in a variety of locations established in the video game series.
