With the parade of visitors we’ve had, I admit that I like it more when it focuses on just Wakasa and Tatsumi. With Tatsumi having gotten a raise at work, Wakasa takes advantage of that in his own particular way to get what he wants – which is a whole lot of milk for a milk bath. You have to feel a bit for Tatsumi in how his money gets spent, but he does keep letting Wakasa live there. It also doesn’t take long for others to start showing up from throughout the series, making for a good little party in a tub as we get different kinds of baths. With several visitors and a lot of time spent in these different baths, it doesn’t take long for it to be too much for Tatsumi, which lets everyone fawn over him a little too. Tatsumi’s pretty worn throughout the episode, so the turn of events certainly isn’t a surprise.

In Summary:
Cute is as cute does and Orenchi no Furo Jijo is definitely cute. Bringing everyone together for what’s essentially a mixed hotpot bath makes for some cute time, particularly with how Maki arrives along the way. The interactions between the characters continues to be fun, though I do like it a bit more when we see Tatsumi a little more upbeat and engaged in things rather than just looking so bland and empty.
