With production moving right along on the Netflix TV series Daredevil, a new cast member has been revealed. Peter Shinkoda has joined the production in the role of Hachiro, which has not had its role expanded upon beyond that. The character is listed as a major recurring role in the series. The cast has grown nicely since it initially cast Charlie Cox in the title role as it’s added Vincent D’Onofrio as the Kingpin, Rosario Dawson in an unannounced role, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.
The series is scheduled for a 2015 bow on Netflix for thirteen episodes.
Plot concept: The story follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
