As FUNimation rolls out Tokyo ESP through their EVS service, a week later it hits their Hulu channel and that means more easy access to a new summer 2014 anime series. The show has landed its first episode on Hulu now for viewing in its original Japanese language with English subtitles and those that have a Hulu Plus subscription can watch this show on their TV and mobile devices.

The series is based on the manga of the same name that comes from Hajime Segawa which began back in 2010 and has eight volumes running so far. The anime adaptation is setup at Xebec with Shighito Takayanagi directing based on scripts by Hideyuki Kurata and Yasuko Kamo while Mitsuru Ishihara will be handling the character designs along with Masaaki Takiyama, who is also serving as the chief animation director. The original creator, Segawa, also was behind a previously licensed series in North America with Ga Rei Zero.

Plot concept: The girl next door is about to become so much more.

Rinka is a high school student in Tokyo trying to make ends meet while supporting herself and her father. Her ordinary life takes a turn for the extraordinary when she witnesses a penguin and a school of fish flying through the air. After catching up to one of the fish, she passes out and wakes up to find herself suddenly granted supernatural powers. With her newfound ability to walk through solid objects, Rinka is about to learn just how transparent the world can be.
